How We Price for Domestic Cleans

You may have noticed that we provide a domestic cleaning price guide and an online quote for our domestic cleans, which we feel works really well for our potential customers as they can easily get an idea of how much it’s going to cost for Green Clean Solution to regularly clean their property, however it doesn’t explain the details that goes into how we decide on a price. This article will briefly explain the reason behind the prices for our domestic cleaning service.

1. Location - For us this is the least important factor for regular cleans. We only supply our services to the areas we can comfortably cover, expanding as and when we take on new staff in new areas. If we took the location into account too much then our competition could easily beat us by simply being closer to the customer, which we feel would harm expansion.
2. Size of the house – The price increases accordingly for every room in the house/flat. One thing to note is that each domestic clean is like a finger print and as a result can differ largely in price even if very similar in size.
3. Current condition – If you haven’t cleaned since Maggie Thatcher was in power, it’s likely that the first few cleans will require extra time to bring the place up to our high standards.
4. Frequency - Just like with most things in life the more you buy the cheaper it’ll be per unit. If you require a cleaner everyday then you can save up to 40% compared with once a month cleans. It’ll also cost more per clean if you opt for a monthly clean as there will be more dirt around the house.
5. Flat rate vs hourly – Although we typically charge a nice and easy to understand flat rate for our cleaning services, some customers ask for a cleaner for a certain amount of hours to help out.
