I was given a wind up torch this Christmas and have been meaning to review it for a while now. I have found a minute free to shorten my to do list and this review is right at the top. If you have hard floors and are a pet owner or have kids running around, chances are one of your biggest problems is dealing with the constant dirt all over your floors. Although I recommend getting a weekly cleaning service to help maintain the floors, you may not be fortunate enough to have a house cleaning service yet to take care of it for you, and as this task can be very time consuming it can quickly get on top of you.

Being part of Method’s cleaning product range, the Eucalyptus Mint Bowl Patrol of course looks fantastic! It’s a really unique bottle shape that looks like it’s been designed to clean the Queen’s toilet and anything less would be an insult to it. The design is not without its disadvantages though; the bottle does take up a fair amount of space (it can’t be neatly hidden under you sink, but perhaps that’s not a bad thing for this product) and it doesn’t quite fit in the hand correctly, not an issue if you have dry hands, but being a professional cleaner often my hands will be a little damp and I fear I’ll one day be fishing this out of someone’s toilet bowl. As this product is non-toxic there is no need for a security lid, instead there is a screw cap, making it nice and simple to use. I’ll explain in a moment why I think this works great on this particular product.

Given our love for Method’s products and the increasing success they have had over the last few years it made sense to review one of their cleaning products. Method’s Pink Grapefruit All Purpose Cleaner was one of the first products we chose to try as it’s fairly low price (~£3) with many uses, so if we didn’t like it we knew it’ll only be around for a short time and not sitting under our sink collecting dust.
